CoolWaters Campground has a small camp store that carries camping supplies, river accesories, and souveniers. So, don’t worry if you do forget to bring something, or if you do not want to take up that valuable space in your car with the charcoal, Coolwater Camp Store can help! Here are just a few of the items we sell:

Camping Supplies:

Tent stakes, lantern mantles, table clothes, rope, bug spray, camp fogger, tarps, Firewood & ice available.

River Supplies:

Waterproof cameras, aqua shoes, ponchos, can coolers, etc.

Souvenirs:

T-shirts, hats, water bottles, sweatshirts, canoe hats, visors, aqua shoes, Coolwater can coolers, etc.

Cooking Supplies:

Charcoal, lighter fluid, matches, spatulas, camp forks, aluminum foil, smore supplies, candy bars, soda, water, Gatorade, etc

There are many great hiking and biking trails in the area, all travel through the scenic Manistee National Forest. Within 30 minutes of Coolwaters Campground are four of Michigans most beautiful hiking and biking trails.

PINE RIVER

The Pine River is a Blue Ribbon Trout Stream with strains of native Brown Trout. It is a pristine and natural river, making it a perfect spot to enjoy a relaxing day of fishing.

The Pine River is a beautiful and challenging river. It has one of the fastest flows in all of Michigan and has some exciting small rapids. This makes it a challenging and exciting river to paddle.

Located in the heart of Northern Michigan outdoor activities! We are centrally located 20 minutes from Cadillac, 45 minutes from Traverse City, and only 30 minutes from Lake Michigan. We are surrounded by hundreds of acres of National Forest, packed with great opportunities for Hunting, Fishing, Morel Mushrooms, Hiking & Biking, and relaxing. We welcome Off Road Vehicles, and you can ride from the campground to Lincoln Hills ORV Trail System.
